Noise in the Attic

There was a noise in the attic
but I set a little trap
then about 10:30 last night
I heard it loudly snap.
I woke up this morning
and climbed the rickety stairs
and what to my wondering eyes
a mouse with little hairs.
:-)
Now there is one less noise maker
over my head at night.
Maybe today I'll trap one more
and then I can sleep tight.

Love the poem, but not the mouse. Get rid of them before they take over the house. Trapping is not easy, in fact it makes me queasy, but good luck in your quest, so you can finally rest. Have a good day. LY Mom
